These are just bizarre! I think these are at
the far end of atisan craftsmanship, but that's
    just me.

+1 on the not crazy about them either. They definitely are unique and made with a particular "niche" piper in mind. Too far out of the box for Puff!

He seems to be fond of bulbous shanks(which I don't care for), the traditional narrower shanked ones look good though.

Ok yeah those pipes are just plain strange, would be funny to bust one of those bad boys out at a pipe smokers gathering type thing, but yeah very strange.

I so like traditional shapes cause they work , which is what makes them traditional. freaky shapes are ok but I'd only want one for fun and the rest more traditional . " nut pipes " are my least favorite and I'm sure this guy like others in this design will be charging big money for them as long as people will be bull****ed into thinking theyre special or better . 1,800.oo .... please .

Awww Ruff you don't want to drop that kind of coin to caress a matched set of briar balls while you gently puff on a black vulcanite stem as you sip the tastey goodneess!!! :bing:

I am sure there are people who would fork out a good amount of money to smoke those wooden balls. Perhaps a little too phallic for me.

You sure, Yin? I mean, slightly less than two grand and you can have a custom Rocky Mountain oyster pipe. Who wouldn't jump all over that?

I think all those pipes look gay, some more so than others. :startle:

They get uglier during the second look, and one
looks like a bloated fortune cookie.

I like the forms, and I'm curious about how they well they smoke. The only thing that gives me pause is that they're so small.

I suspect they may smoke rather well! But, the pipes remind me of me - a bit too over weight. I gotta lose 20 lbs. and don't want a pipe that reminds me that!

I suspect he'll have them for awhile as the price is going to be a niche' market deal.
