Thought I'd post some links to some French pipe makers . There's not alot of talk here at PSF about them so I figure either people dont know about them or think they're a drag . Chacom and Butz have a pretty big line of pipes . Some I never see here in the states . The Chacom Army pipes are kinda like the Petersons and the like but with an elegant flair that I think is really tops . Anyway , here's some French stuff ......

I like a lot of the Chacom pipes. Do you know of any good e-tailers that carry them?

See , thats the thing . Alot of site have them but not that many . The ones they do have are good but it seems they showcase their modern " funky " pipes [ camo pipes , silver pipes etc .. ] without a good amount of other stuff . Pipesandcigars has some ,IRC , cupojoes and some others that I cant think of .

I have already seen what is available at those retailers, selection is quite slim. I have a few other pipes to get that are higher up on the list anyway, Chacom or Butz-Choquin will have to wait until I see something available that I must have.

I guess you have to be able to speak French to find websites with decent Chacom selections, I've been searching around for French websites and can't find any with my search settings for English language only. I can'tfind any that translate into English if they do have any e-stores.

I have two Butz Choquin pipes from local shops and I love them. Very stylish and great smokers. They were in the Peterson price range. I'm smoking a Butz bulldog right now.

great looking pipes Ruff, but I haven't spoken French since the 10th grade. And from the thread going on here it seems they are in short supply in the US. I do think you are right, they don't get much attention around here. I do by the way have a Butz-Choquin in the collection (lower end) but a good looking pipe nonetheless. Thanks for the link. I just wish I spent more time learning French than checking out the girls--le jeune-filles ( I think thats right?!?!)
