Out to lunch, and shopping with Mrs. OT today, I did my usual ploy of letting her go off looking at silly 'girlie' things ( bags, shoes, dresses etc.) while I focussed my attention on more sensible things, at the tobacconists :p:. Meeting up - a couple of hours later, I found she had called at another B&M, and presented me with the two items below!. I'm still trying to think - what I have done to deserve this!;).

Well it's a Blakemar briar - not an expensive pipe by any means, but very well made - I shall 'christen' it with a little CH later.

I showed you post to my wife in case she wants to emulate Mrs. OT.
Nice looking pipe, although I was expecting a picture of a corgi puppy; you know, for the Queen.

I cant imagine a single thing you did to deserve it :) but she's a wonderful woman and generous and forgiving to a fault. Enjoy the gift.

Does this defer the Invicta then? I have mixed feelings....

    Congratulations OT!

I agree! Very nice! :) Mrs. OT sure knows something about pipes. As to the tobacco - I only know that it's expensive. You're one lucky son of a gun! ;)

On the other hand - I have never been married - so maybe it has something to do with you letting her 'loose' to buy all the necessary stuff gals like so much?! :byg:
