The Dunhill Flake...start on a high note! If you want to try a McClellands blend first, though, make sure you 'air' it out a bit beforehand. Don't ask! Just do it.

Nice score, BTW. (Except the Club Blend? I've heard nothing but bad things about it here.)

That's a really good sampler, Elijah. You hit a lot of benchmarks there, Presbyterian, OGS, Blackwoods.... nice picks mate.

Thanks gentlemen. My friend is coming over in a bit to smoke so we will put our heads together. He is even less experienced with pipe smoking than I am, and I want to direct him towards English blends because he hasn't experienced them yet.

Presbyterian Mix then. It's sweet and soft -- delicate on latakia and contains wonderful orientals. Yum!

Should be good in that new Pete! :thumbsu:

Yeah, yeah, what he said. Can't go wrong with the Presbyterian. I opened a new tin of it yesterday, and ahhh the aroma is amazing.

    Hi All,

I always think there's nothing nicer than one of those packages through the door whether it contains a pipe or tobacco. You've got some well respected blends there - enjoy!

    Best as ever

Looks delicious! The only one in the list that I have experience with is the Dark Twist -- I love that one.

The rest are onmy own TAD list for future procurement.

Let us know what you guys think!!
