Anyone tried this yet? I received an email last week about it - but no reviews are available.

It's a spicy Burley blend with Perique and a kick. It's kind of hard to describe.

Am I the only one that wants the jar?

I want to try some, having to wait in my next paycheck for my funds to refill.

    Gunslinger,

Smells like it has some virginia tobacco in it as well. Smells like ketchup and BBQ sauce out of the bag. I love the stuff. Very strong . Close to what a tobacco twist is like in strength but that is just my opinion. Would I buy again? YES!

Trauma sent me some of this and I have been enjoying it. Blendtobac's description is right on as is expected. If you like burley and you like perique, you should like this blend. Oh, and if you are a nicotine lightweight, you may want to steer clear o this one.

If it will help, here's my review of it:

The burley is earthy and smooth, and kind of dominates the other ingredients without being harsh or ashy. The red Virginia is pleasantly noticeable. The dark Kentucky is less obvious, but adds a base note of strength. I can taste just a bare essence of the black cavendish if at all, because I think the sweetness mainly comes from the red Virginia. The perique is plum and peppery, and adds a nice spice taste to perk it up. It has a slight nuttiness and is lightly tangy. It's savored best in a pipe with a big bowl to experience the various flavor components. They say this is a very strong tobacco, but I find it medium strong with a deep, full flavor that really pleases. It burns well, evenly and dry. I recommend it.
