You can't smoke tin art, Ted, and that's the highlight.

It bit me so bad I didn't have enough time to fully suffer through the foul taste.

The best description I could ever give for this is that if I had to smoke either it or Mixture 79, I'd take M79 in a landslide.

I would dare say I've spent 200 dollars on tobacco that was, to me, unsmokeable, simply because it came in a cool tin.

I havent tried the new Holiday Excurison ... the old Holiday was a lane product ... wasnt to bad . If possible , I'd try a sample before getting a tub . The tub art is pretty cool .. gotta admit

It would be worth a shot to buy the tin and try the tobacco. Others opinions may not be yours.

Gotta say, though - the odds are against you getting anything out of your purchase except a cool tin. :ohyh:

That's a good point, Dan, I've paid plenty for old empty tins before, so if you're looking from that perspective it's not so bad.

Bingo. I'm searching for a tin of Rose & Crown Tavern tobacco - tobacco not necessary. I just like the tin art. I bought a book from Ben Rapaport that's full of pics of old tobacco tins and it is the coolest thing ever!

If you want to buy tobacco for the tin - I recommend going for the W. O. Larsen :)
