london mixture is my fave of the new ones. 965 is pretty good if you dry it well enough.

Silly question, Mington. Of course not!

    Chris,

I'd also go with one that you have two of.

Start with something you have two of. That way you will have enough of it to smoke while you make an order for more. :thumb:

    Hi All,

Some haul and some agonising choices! I'm really sorry for you!

Think I'd take it logically and kick of with the EMP and finish with the Nightcap - in between? Frankly I think I'd just try them all - unless you bought intending to cellar.

Me I think I'd have quite a few tins open at the same time!

Happy smoking and best to all

    Gerry

    I like Gerry's answer.

Me? Everytime I've tried Dunhill it was too much of a Nic Hit for me...

I'm not skinny (heck, I'm downright chubby), but when it comes to tobacco, I'm a lightweight!

    Lol great replies!

Im actually going to celler one of everything in a big tupperware. It will be cool to have a tin of everything from the first run of 9 in case they decide to go belly up again.

This leaves me with tins of:
    EMP
    965
    Nightcap
    Royal Yacht

For smoking enjoyment, I think the 965 will be the first to break the seal :groucho:

    Hi Again,

From memory Royal Yacht's an "English" as you'd call it - so that's for after dinner in lieu of a cigar - things are beginning to fit into a natural timetable here!

    Happy smoking

Enjoy! The first for me will be EMP, although I'm holding off for now until I thin my open tin collection. I've got a lot of smoking to do in the name of streamlining and organization!

I've got a tin of Royal Yacht open now and it's definitely not "Exceedingly Mellow" like the tin says. This stuff has a good amount of nicotine! I was under the impression that it's a virginia blend with some sort of mild, fruity topping. I like it but I really have to smoke it gently or my face begins to feel like it's sagging... :startle:

Like Gerry said, it's great for after dinner. I'm not sure I wanna smoke this one first thing in the morning.

It really doesn't matter where you start but most definitely start!

I got just Flake & Deluxe Navy Rolls and those two are very very tastee! I pretty well agree that you're gonna have a few tins open and enjoy the day's puffin'.

When I get a bunch o'toby that I know I'm gonna be enjoyin' shortly.....I crack 'em all then and there! It's tres fun!

    Enjoy! T'is The Season!

Man, does that take me back! Used to smoke all of those, but for the life of me I have no idea what any of them were really like. Seems like the Royal Yacht was especially nice, but couldn't say for sure.

I saw some tins with grotesque warnings slapped on the front. Do they only do that in the UK? I see you are mercifully spared that.

Wake up early and start with the Early Morning Pipe.
But its almost noon here, so personally, I would do a flake for lunchtime.
And if there's something wrong with having multiple tins open, then the devil's got dibs on me.
