Anyone own an Il Duca? I'm having some
SERIOUS PAD over some of his pipes!
How do they smoke? The draw hole is
exactly in the middle of the bottom
of the bowl. This design feature seems
absolutely genius to me. Plus'? Minus'?

    cheers

Snake, those pipes look real good to me as well.

Speaking as a guy who makes pipes, and knowing other guys who do, I'd say you can't go wrong. Guys who get into pipe making are all pipe nerds, and they are all absolutely bent on making a pipe that smokes .2% better than the next guy's pipe. This manifests itself in many ways, but the most usual is that handmade pipes are just built to really really tight specifications. You notice his drilling is bang on the bottom in the German style. Some people love this, I don't prefer it, but I certainly wouldn't hesitate to buy a pipe because of it.

They look like a pretty nice pipe to me.

I am way too Ham-Fisted for such a delicate and elegant piece.

Okay, I caved. Not the one listed above, but
a bent apple sans finish, and a cumberland stem
is now purchased, and awaiting SP to ship it
out. That site will be the death of me... :)

maybe I shouldn't look at pipes when I'm
overly tired, and all scotched up. :groucho:
