Anyone ever try one of these?
Bad link, it is a Morgan Cigar pipe
.... That don't look like no pipe to me! *Scowls at image*
A pipe is meant to look like a pipe, not a cigar.
It gets filled with pipe tobacco and smokes.
Like I said.
I like it, very creative use of briar.
It reminds of something I left in the head. ~Dr. Bombay laugh
Have I offended the pipe gods ?
There are a few torpedo shaped pipes that have made their rounds in history. That particular pipe you have cited has been reviewed on here... I think. A ton of good info on it, and smoking characteristics. Apparently, there has been at least one bad experience with them. The other torpedos seem to be eye catchers but I don't have a clue how they smoke. --Ramblings of Raff
No, no. Just being an arse. Its an interesting concept, in all honesty. I'm finding I'm exploring more variations of pipes the more I get in to this.
I've seen those before - there are a couple of videos on youtube about them. I think it's a pretty nifty idea. Not something I would buy myself but I can see the appeal. I think I'm with AussieTX on this one - a pipe is a pipe and should look like one.
I've seen these shapes around for a while.. Vauen has a variation too.. I'm a bit sceptical though.. I dont even like traditional pipes where the chamber is at an angle.. Have a hard time seing how i'd take to a horizontal chamber..
