I recently bought an Invicta Briar bulldog and when it arrived, I was thrilled with it! I noticed however that the slit in the lip was so small that I could not pass a pipe cleaner through it. So I tried to widen it ever so gently and "Pop" off comes a piece of the lip!! I am crushed!

I promptly emailed Pete at Invicta Briars and he graciously told me to return the pipe and he would refit it with a new stem! WOW!!! What a great guy and artist to work with!
I sent the pipe back and in less than 2 weeks, I open my mailbox and here is my pipe back with a great letter telling me how he repaired the pipe and hoped I enjoy it!

I cannot tell you how pleased I am with, not only the pipe, but the classiness of Invicta Briars and their owner, Pete.

Anyway, here it is along side an old tin of my wife's grandfather's second favorite tobacco. (First was Granger)

    Now to fire it up!

Love that bulldog! It's great to hear good customer service stories in a time when most places could give a crap.

Get one. If only to deal with great people like Pete.

I got my eye on a poker from them but the one on their site is sold already.

Fired it up the first time with some Dunhill 965 and then yesterday with some Walnut.

The Dunhill was nice but I REALLY liked the Walnut!!!

The pipe was wonderful! No gurgle, burned perfectly and left a little bit of ash in the bottom. This is going to be one of my favorite smokers!

Got loads of Invictas, including a smooth, bandless bulldog. All great for the very reasonable price.
