I thought it would be cool to see how this forum has been a hub of trading and selling and sharing. Thing seem to be flying through the mail all over the country between members. So why doesn't everyone show what they got!?

I will kick it off with the pipe Spillproof sent me. [IMG]
This beast is Massive. My first smoke was at work at the old poop factory on the banks of the Mighty Penobscot River. Macbaren HH Vintage Syrian. She smoketh very well!
    Many thanks Spillproof!

"Surprisingly chunky" and "Very deep chamber" were included in the vague description of said item. lol. If it gets too hot, you can fill it with water and go swimming.

Sorry for the ginormous picture...the bottom two bulldogs where from Spillproof. I reamed the hell out of them, salt treated them, and polished up the stems...I think the turned out pretty decent for my first restore. The top three are from Monkey...he gave away some "Free Practice", and seeing how I want to learn how to restore pipes, I took the bait. The top one had a loose tenon that I tightened up a bit with the nail polish trick...its not perfect, but its much better than it was. The other two have broken tenons. Luckily, I have another pipe whose stem fits those two...so I can at least smoke them. He also threw in some tobacco samples because, in his own words, "who likes to open a box without any tobacco in it"...or something to that effect. The samples were Penzance, Lancers Slices (two tobaccos that I have been wanting to try), and Edward's Reserve, from his local...all very tasty, and excellent smokes...

I'll take this one- the maker is unknown.
They come on the bay every once in a while as "Arizona Made" with a pipe-shape name.
This one was "Arizona Made Fancy Egg."
There is a stamp on it but aside from a serial number (which leads nowhere googling) it's very difficult to make out (possibly a mtn. lion face with initials wrapped around it).

Good thing I can't remember a lot of things.

Good thing I never gave any of them my real name.
