Good thing it didn't take your pipe with it, either via the wind carrying it away or the wind frying a hole in it!

I packed a bowl before the winds got too crazy... I even managed to use matches! Now not so much.

Windy here, but sitting on the sofa next to my wife, the only breeze is due to the chili.

I tried and finally gave up. Lit up a cigar inside and carried out on the back deck to watch the pine trees dance.

OK, so who is creating the breeze, I mean is a manly breeze or one of those girlie squeek squeek breezes?

...are you visiting Saskatchewan? This is the only place I've ever been where the wind blows in ALL directions 11 months out of the year. With the exception of August...

That was my experience in SK. Was there once in December and once in March, and yeah, it's a windy place. The type of place where, during a snowstorm, you get 2 inches on the ground and a foot of snow on the SIDE of your house. :)

I know! Prior to coming here I couldn't even imagine how brutal the Winter could actually be. I've survived 13 of them this far.

No offense to our resident Texans, but you couldn't pay me to live there. A climate like that is simply unfit for human habitation. I thought the weather in Birmingham was hot and muggy... until the first time I went to Houston. Give me Saskatchewan any day.
