Got to the show about 30 minutes after it opened, only 2 of the 250-ish pipes had been sold. Folks were eyeballing strong and hard. I'd made an early decision prior to arriving at the show to pick one up if they looked good. If they looked real good and prices were right, well, to limit myself to 3 and no more! Maybe some bulk toby to go along with. :0laugh:

Well, I grabbed 3! Show discount was 20% off. That was even "gooder"! I didn't feel bad for grabbing 3. If I'd just set my limits higher, #4 would have been a dark blasted 2008 Cherry Poker (nice and big)! Oh well, had to not even look at them as I walked to the cash register....... :0laugh:

I'd love to show you but photobucket just isn't cooperating with me. I've had a bunch o'pics to show you guyz from the days prior but the jpegs aren't transferring to p-bucket. Anyone have a recommendation for a good working p-bucket like site?

    Anyway, moving right along:

    PAD:

Pipe #1, KW Handmade #5210, Dark Sandblast Plateau Cuddy. Nice size 5'r deep, just an awesome pipe! I've always wanted a cuddy. Sandblast is a deep brownish black. Gorgeous pipe. Nice and big ~ 7" in length.

Pipe #2 (mind you, I had a deathgrip on pipe #1 while I was circling the tables like a vulture on roadkill), KW Handmade #3210, Tanblast Plateau Chimney. Size 4+, deep. Nice and light. It too is gorgeous if I may say so. Long and slender ~ 7" as well.

Pipe #3 (same story but the grip was on #1&#2), KW 2010 POY #19/150, Tanblast soft plateau 1/4 bent Dublin. Very sleek, & light. This one'z gonna be a super joy to smoke (I hope).

Thanks for bearing with me as I try to get pics up. Thanks in advance if you have any photo-sites you recommend similar to P-bucket (but maybe better?).

TAD: 4oz each of PS LBF & PS LNF.

Thanks B! I've got a few KW standards & flame grains and they smoke ok. Not too crazy about the stinger-contraption. Stingers do have their advantages and disadvantages. I prefer "no plumbing" in my pipage so these I'm sure will do me well........at least I hope.

Need to show these Hot Babes off! Long & Sleek, very stylish pipes, nothing too fancy or out of the box. There were a few really nicely done "plateau bridges" and a HUGE squashed bulldog (think Tinsky shape #13 but ~3.5-4" diameter with a size 4+ bowl. Looked like a big black flying saucer coming atchya! I picket that one up at first but put it back down, it's HUGE!

If any of you guyz get the opportunity to go to a show of a pipesmith/company you like or were curious about, GO! Don't even consider "Not going"! GO! Set your limits if you are enticed and stick to it......or totally enjoy yourself and do a +1! I should have but it was my first show and I'm trying to be good.....sort of! :0laugh:

Those sound like some nice pipes. Always nice to go to an event like that, too. I wish there were more around my area. Florida is more cigar country than anything, sadly. As to your photobucket problem, you can upload the pics to your PSF album or use flickr. www.flickr.com I'm looking forward to seeing pics, man. :0laugh:

I'll take the blonde with the big.... sandblast.

Bill's pipes are pretty nice, and once you break them in, they are great smokers, very Italian in feel and taste.

Sounds like a great outing Puff. CONGRATS :thumb:

Unfortunately I stuck like Eric. Nothing but cigar shows down here in FL. I'm going to search for any pipe shows in or around FL and I'll let you know if I find anything Eric.

Thanks guyz! I finally got p-bucket to work. Very frustrating but that's done. I sure hope these smoke as good as they look. All of the pipes there were KILLER, some more so. If they only had 3 that were different from these 3, and I was allowed to take them instead, I'd have been just as happy. Makes the $30-$40 Kaywoodies seem like "toys" compared to these. I'm so glad I went. Yes, I've wanted a Kaywoodie Freehand or Handmade for quite a while too.

I'll have to break these girls in nice and slow along with the other near-virgins I've got hanging around the house. May as well call it: Puff's Brothel (or Puff's "Virgins-a-Workins" ).

Ya know, I could've bought a shiite load of cobs for the "jack" I spend on these 3 but I believe that I'll enjoy them as well as any pipe I smoked during the "cobless weekend" or maybe even better......fingers crossed.

Those are some mighty fine looking Kaywoodies! If my experience with them is any guide, you'll enjoy their top-of-the-line models and never regret the money spent.
