Thanks, Nate! Love the fact that P&C
actually got my order right, and that
they had BBF in stock!
That is super cool!! I ahve been lucky and they've always got mine right I love ordering from them on IPSD!
Yep, they sent a calendar with my purchase, and
on IPSD they have a free goodie bag w/any purchase
that day. Probably a little toby sampler, PCs, and
a Czechsdje tool, but free is free!
I can't exactly remember what I got but I think it's this:
3oz Christmas Cookie
2oz Chocolate Cream
1oz Sweet Tea
1oz Boswell's Best
1oz Vanilla Cream
Hot off the truck
2oz PS Cube cut
100g mac B VA no 1
100g Marlin Flake
1.5 # PS LBF
A Peterson Irish Made Army, shape 102.
4 oz PS Cinnamon
4 oz PS Mellow Mocha
1 lb Mac B Honey & Chocolate
Just ordered from P&C:
SG Firedance Flake 8oz
SG Golden Glow 100g
SG Celtic Talisman 50g
SG Navy Flake 50g
SG Sams Flake 50g
Astley's 44 50g
MacB Honey & Chocolate 50g
Stopped at a local b&m to pick up and wind screen and some stem polish after David's article. While I was getting ready to check out I noticed a bag of stonehaven looking me in the face. So, a ten dollar trip was more expensive, but now I have stonehaven.
Ordered a tin of FMOTT and a Thunderbird insert for my Zippo. I also have a MM Diplomat and a forever stem that should be here today.
Ordered a Pete churchwarden, a ball meer, a Savinelli briar, and about $150 of bulk tobacco including Kendal Gold, Best Brown #2, Broken Scotch Cake, Glengarry Flake, Red Cake, and Bayou Night.
Astley's 44 is the most underrated, under talked about Virginia this side of Germains Brown Flake. It's a mystery how this blend can sit on shelves while people pine away for FVF.
Ordered 8oz of Squadron Leader (just shipped out today) since everyones been talking about how great it is I figured I'd give it a go ^_^
It was your recent mention of it as an FVF alternative that made me decide to give it a shot
First tobacco purchase since mid summer! Decided i needed to enter a "try new things" phase and bought a bunch of interesting looking baccys. This random approach has worked before. (Not that random mind you as i check on tobacco reviews first...)
But here's the order
McClelland Blackwoods flake
Rattray's old gowrie
Solani 660 silver flake
McClelland Blue Mountain
Hoping for a winner or 4
8 blend sampler from C&D should be here tomorrow... 5 C&D blends, 2 GLP's and a Two Friends.
Damn, man, you're not supposed to take me seriously! I just sit here and run my mouth!
Kidding aside, it's wonderful stuff, I hope you like it.
You done good
I just bought some maple cavendish from The Briary in Homewood, AL. It tastes pretty good, but the wonderful smell was the real reason I decided to pick it up.
