It is only some of the most awesome tobacco to be stuffed into a pipe. Nearly impossible to find and is one of my top five all time favorites.:)

If I recall correctly - you probably wont find much of the Orlick readily available but Peter Heinrich Dark Strong Flake is apparently the same stuff

PAD strikes again. At these ridiculously bargain prices, why not. On Ebay, a Israel freehand and a colassal (sp) pot. I stick with only 2 baccy blends so I'm not throwing money at different blends. Right now I plan to stop the pipe buying when volume of pipes reaches present age (65), and then buy one birthday pipe after that. (sure). What a blast it is to look in the ol mailbox and see a beautiful briar joining the herd.:old:

    SG Jubillee,
    Orlik Bull's Eye, and
a Dublin Falcon bowl (so I can consume my weight in Condor without ghosting any more pipes).

    Yum yum yum.

Pipes pipes pipes: A jansen (New Orleans), a Robinson (London) and Grabow freehand. 6.70$ a piece including shipping (Estates) can't wait. I think the Jansen is private label for a now defunct pipe shop in N.Orleans made by Comoy. Robinson, I have no clue. All beautiful briars.:bing:

I took the new Peterson Aran 01 out for it's inital cruise. Mr. Carter Hall rode with me. The outing was short only a third of the journey Iwanted to take. It just left me wanting MORE! I think we will go out again tomorrow;)

One tin of Peterson Irish Flake, one tin of Ferndown Yellow & Brown - the last the store had in stock. Wishing I hadn't gifted some tins to people before it became obvious that it's been discontinued! Such is life, hope they enjoyed it. I have four sealed tins, and I'm growing to like other more refined Oriental blends better, anyway, so it's no major loss. I'll let at least three of them continue to get better for at least a couple years before I crack them. In the meantime, they still have a stack of Black & Tan which I haven't even tried yet. Guess I better get around to it, because if I like it as much as the other I'll buy them out of that, too!

got my hands on an exquisite squat custombilt, a nice pot rusticated, a beautiful freehand fro Israel and a pipe by Lee. The lee was an error as I never buy screw in stems and sure enough it alligned improperly . One thin washer from the hardware store and all is well with no visual problem to speak of. All smoke great. I see Carter Hall come up quite a bit. Can anyone say what type of baccy it is ???

Carter Hall is basically a straight Burley blend with a nice, natural taste and a subtly-sweet room note.
