Sure looks like it is! I'm really excited, it will be my first high grade pipe. He said it will be shipped out tomorrow, so here's hoping I'll get it quickly :D

I don't have a checking account at present; I use a prepaid Visa which sort of makes it's use slightly more cumbersome. In looking at paypal in the past, it always had appeared I needed to link my paypal account directly to a bank account, which I wasn't able to do, so I always thought I wouldn't be able to use it. Once I more seriously investigated their site, it turned out to be easy to just have them bill the card. So long as the money was already loaded there, no need for anything else. That was a big motivator for looking for a pipe on the regular sites and stores, not being able to do business with someone who couldn't accept my card.

Another was speed - I don't know how long it takes for a pipe to be made and don't know how long a custom order would take. I would like to do a commissioned pipe in the future, but it just so happened that he had an already finished pipe that I really liked up for sale. I paid the first half last week to reserve it, and the second half this week to finish the deal. Now I just have to wait for shipping, which is unbearable no matter what route I go :)

Been on a dry spell lately, so couldn't stand it anymore. Visited a local b&m that I'd yet to try. Picked a few items.

-tin of McClelland Blackwood flake. So far so good.
-a mcClelland Chicago Pipe Collectors Club selection: Samovar
    - Esoterica Margate
    - another CPCC blend from McClelland: New Century.

And the ever imprtant pipe cleaners!

Gary, if you don't like Blackwoods Flake, you're automatically a bad person. Just sayin.
