Holly mother of God, now that is something you don't see every day.
Congrats on your purchase
Dude... i love lucky strikes!
I just "pulled the trigger" on a new pouch of Granger (the old one is running low and I don't know if I'll find it in my new town) and a pouch of Kentucky Club (never tried it, always wanted to, don't know if I'll find it in the new place)
All things considered I got two pouches of tobacco and a pack of matches for about $7.50
I smoked them for several year back in my cowboy days. Of course, they were the white pack with red bullseye. (IOW, I ain't that old.) I gave 'em up (with a couple of relapses) 43 years ago when I got married. What really sealed the deal was watching my dad suffer for several years with emphysema and lung cancer and die at age 59.
For several years, I'd have dreams about Lucky's. I really liked them. If I smoked one now, it would knock me on my rear.
That's an unopened pack. Probably turned to dust by now.
My grandfather smoked Lucky Strikes. I remember the smell of them well.
I still smoke Lucky Strike. Before that I used to smoke Dunhill, but Lucky Strike kind of got stuck to me for the last 7 - 8 years.
It is not the same taste as it was before 2002, when they reinvented Lucky Strike, but still tastes pretty sweet.
Dunhills or American Spirits I still smoke.
My father smoked Lucky Strike and back when I started smoking, it was what I smoked because they were easily obtainable
Bought a brass tamper.
As for Lucky Strikes....and cigarettes in general....when they started making them fire safe they tasted bad and hurt my lungs.
Just got this in the mail. The same stuff Martin Kane, Television's First Private Eye, smoked.

picked up my first oz. of FVF, some P.S. danish import, and some CBW just to see how that is.
Cool! Let us know how it is.
My last pipe related purchase was half a dozen boxes of Diamond kitchen strike anywhere matches. I am going to pick up tubs of SWR and PA this weekend.
I've been enjoying some of the Newminster line and have been wanting to try so more. Well, stopped by the nearest B&M. Looks like they didn't care to actually stock the tobacco so they took some samples from a vendor or pipe show, slapped a price tag on, and put them on the shelf.
Based on a few visits I'll never stop by that shop again, but I've at least added the Imperial Nougat and Denmark Pipe Cut to the stash to try.
Picked up a case of 1qt Ball jars since my others are full.
Just bought a case of 16oz Ball
jars. Needed some spares.
Updated order and both arrived at the Same Time !
2 slabs of STONE
and some Fine Tobacco for Inspiration
Now Off to hardware store for some hack saw blades and a bunch of sandpaper
