Which do you prefer?
Pros and cons of each?
I have MacB VC in loose cut and I find that it smokes well. I have to try the flake one day. I can send you about 3-4 bowls worth if you wish. Just opened the tin last month.
I have the flake. I will send you some of that! PM me your address...
well, I've only had the 'loose cut' - but if the flake is of a similar standard of mediocrity, it would be a hard decision!
Got a pouch of the broken this past winter. Didn't smell much or taste anything. I'd have to try this again in the summer time.
I'm 100% sure that the cold up here affects the smell and taste of tobacco.
I find the loose cut is a little more aromatic and has slightly less flavor and nicotine (both are very mild to mild) than the flake. I keep both around
I go for the flake because even though they start out a little moist, an open tin will usually not get too dry before I finish smoking it, so it travels with me in my pipe case.
