Just finished a bowl of Kendall Top Black Cherry in the Manx 1/4 bent billiard meer. This is one of my two best smoking meers, along with the Altinok and Peterson. Very open draw. This pipe is carved in a smooth rock design with a crenalated rim.
I will post a picture of all the pipes I am smoking before the end of the month.
As for the Top Black Cherry, I was surprised by how sticky it is out of the tin. The tin aroma was very nice and rich. I let it dry for about 30 minutes as it's very dry in SE Texas today.
I found the smoke cool and rich, with a deep tobacco flavor and no tongue bite. It smoked to the bottom of the bowl with no dottle or moisture. I like the tobacco, but I think I just don't have the ability to taste the cherry flavor in a smoke.
