Ok, so I arrive home from work to two packages sitting by my garage. Some stuff I ordered over the phone last week arrived! All Samuel Gawith blends - three I've had and liked (listed first), and two I haven't but heard about and bought the last the purveyor had, in case I didn't like it and I needed 'trade goods'. :goodjob:

    Tins:
    1x Chocolate Flake
    1x Kendal Cream Flake
    1x Best Brown Flake
2x Black XX (been dying to try this one!)
4x 1792 Flake (I've heard a lot about this flake, but haven't given it a whirl.)

Now I just have to decide which one to crack open first... :thumbsu:

    Cheers

Find your biggest pipe, crack the 1792, ram the pipe full to the top, and smoke it till you can't walk. Which is about.... 5 minutes!

Haha! But back on track, I'd personally give the Kendal Cream a shot. BTW Where are you sourcing your SG?

You're just slightly evil, aren't you Sas? I'm afraid I don't want to become  then  !
I didn't crack one open last night - imagine the iron will! I just admired the tins while partaking of some Irish Oak. Perhaps tonight, when the weather is less ... dense.

    :)

He's more than just slightly evil Carl, but the good news is that I mean that in good way

I'm going to thow my vote to this as well, if you haven't had 1792 you def owe it to yourself to have a run at it.

Yes, the 1792 would be a good place to start. See how long it takes before your head does the tonka bonka...

Really nice haul there, must have been nice to come home to!

Do post your thoughts on the 1792 - I'm considering adding it to the ever growing "Wants List."

    Exceedingly Happy Smoking to you!

Indeed a nice haul...but you still have avoided naming your SG source... ;)

I too believe this to be a rather large omission...

Let the man have his source, and good on him. If somebody found a decent source of SG that you buncha BBF junkies missed, good for him, and shame on you.

I can say that since I'm not a big SG guy, if he had found the motherload of Germains, say, I would be bribing the man with cash right now.

    My new-found comrades:

The omission of my "source" is not an omission of greed or selfishness! Mischief may be involved, but only a little.

As I stated in my post, I purchased my purveyor's remaining stock of certain blends (ie: 1792, Kendall Cream Flake and Best Brown Flake). I am merely awaiting confirmation that my source may receive some restock of SG blends (not sure which blends may arrive). :phone:

Let's hope there is good news! I will happily send your business their way!

Nice bit of TAD there, Carl! Looks like I'm going to learn from your experiences if that review of 1792 is any indication.

    Enjoy!

No worries, Legend! I do intend to share. I just don't want to promise water from an empty well!
