I can't enthuse about my new Mr Brogg no 47 enough. For £8.97 - brilliant as seen Mr Brogg pipes retail @ £20-25 on internet sites. I got mine from my local tobacconist, which doesn't do mail order & only does cash transactions.

The air flow is so smooth through pipe you hardly have to draw on it to smoke it. in this regard, it's better than my more expensive Big Ben Royal Silver 343 - which I got for £22 on special offer but retailing @ £45.95.

This is particularly excellent when smoking Clan aromatic tobacco, as it burns so quickly because of it's fine cut. Mr Brogg allows me to very lightly sip it to just get the right air flow to burn the Clan slow enough to release the delicate heather, pine & liquorice flavours without getting the harsh bitter back bite of ash if it burns too quickly all the way to bottom of the bowl. Also, with the 9mm filter, you get a very clean and smooth smoke - particularly compared to my old Centennial no 2 pipe with it's metal filter/arrester.

A real joy to smoke and enjoy. Couldn't recommend it enough.

An amendment for Mr Brog pipe prices - $20-25 not £'s, tho seen no 47 sold for $13.
