A friend of the wife's came over about a month ago and saw me smoking my pipe. He said that he used to smoke pipes in the mid 80's and doesn't anymore and he would give me his pipes next time he came over. He did say there was a Dunhill and a Savinelli in there. This guy is fairly well off and usually whatever he gets is good quality. I expected 1 or 2 pipes. He gave me 7 including an awesome Meer!

Here is a picture of all 7 and a link to my album that shows more closeups.

The only shame was that the Dunhill (which is sweet!) was missing it's stem.
Does any know where I can get a replacement Dunhill stem?
It would be great to get the one that belongs to it. It is a Dunhill Shell from about 1985.

Thanks guys. I never heard of a Soren and MGM Rock. They look good quality (as they all do). Are those 2 any good? Worth anything? (Not that I am selling. Just curious)

I think soren was the name of the elf king in the hobbit ... if it was his then it would be worth alot . I believe MGM Rock pre dated Fraggle Rock so that ones collecable as well .:)

I have 2 Sorens, both beautiful freehands. Between the Dun, the Sav and the Soren, you should be a very happy smoker.

Those three on the right look like trash. You should send them to me so I can properly dispose of them.

You should give them away...it's the only way to truly make them 'yours'. Or not. (Selfish bastid...;))

Very nice. Too bad the Dunhill is missing the stem. I really like that meer.

The meer needed bare minimal cleaning and I just loaded it with a bowl of SG FVF and am going to spark it up now. I am stoked! (No pun intended. heh)
