Good Sunday afternoon everyone. I just wanted to post a pic of my new Aktas meer I purchased yesterday afternoon. It smokes wonderfully and I can't seem to put it down. Anyway, my modest collection just grew by one.

Ooh ya! You did well! I'm not familar with Aktas. Your pipe appears very well made and should provide a life time of contentment. :thumb:

Thanks WillH and rusty. It's actually starting to color already and I've only smoked two bowlfuls of baccy through her.

Well bought! What a lovely storage case as well!

I've got a similar "lattice" meer in the shape of a poker. It too is starting to color nicely. It's cool to see how the pits (inner wall) start to color quickly while the outer wall colors more slowly.

    Very nice! :thumbsu:

I've been wondering about these for some time. I have a Baki, CAO and others, but this is good news to hear of the engineering in this one. Someday i may have to pull the trigger on one of these beauties. Thanks for sharing and enjoy! :goodjob:
