    Hi, folks!

Some "qualified" knowres of the tobacco world in Spain, are, confidentially, saying that Orlik has been fired as the blender of the Dunhill tobaccos, being replaced by R.L. Will (the blender of Solani and Reiner tobaccos)

Do someone know something about this particular?

One would think that something dastardly must have happened for that to be true. Tobacco quality is but one possibility.

    Could be anything!

    Rumor
    Sales hype
    Leaf related
    Quality related
    He said / she said
    Rich folk bickering

This is interesting though. I love Reiner & Solani leaf!

Hmmmm..... that's news to me! But let's hope that -whatever happens- Dunhill tobaccos remain and retain their quality!:bing:

If true, enjoy the current prices while they last.

say it ain't so. I like my Dunhill's how they are. Guess all I can do is hope for the best and enjoy it what's currently available if it doesn't work out.

If you smoked the "old" Murray's ones, you could be one of them just now actually.

My first thought was "maybe they'll bring back Durbar..."
    :)
Who knows, lots of rumors about stuff like this float around.

Well, no matter what happens, I sure hope they don't mess with GAF. Orlik really nailed that one. If they do change it for the worse, I'll be stocking up on Fribourg & Treyer Vintage. That's some fine VA flake.

I would be sad if EMP was changed for the worse. That is a fine light english with the perfect splash of orientals. Davidoff Royalty is simmilar, but just not as balanced and approachable.

Bummer. Good thing I have about 40 tins of
GAF in the cellar. Never got on with any of
the other blends, so I won't be too heartbroken.
Interesting to see how much truth there is in this.

All five Dunhills I had tasted the same to me. All bland and tasteless. There must be something wrong with me.

Randall, there is something wrong with you, but I agree with you about the Dunhill tobacco.
