Who's down to try this besides me? Kinda sketchy about a whiskey flavored Lat blend. The chunk o wood seems kinda gimmicky, but I suppose it would do something to the flavor.

Maybe after you buy enough tins you can smoke some ribs or something.

That does sound very interesting. I don't know how much flavor it would really impart but the curiosity factor has me wanting to buy a tin and try it out.

I'll pass...not like McClelland to resort to gimmicks, and that block of wood is taking up space where tobacco ought to be....weight too!

I hope they're not charging for the weight of the wood, though it may be worth checking when somebody does get a tin!

Really? they are counting the wood block as part of the tobacco weight? I would think they are smarter than that. wow

I will report if and when I get some, I highly doubt it works like that, the weight is 50g of tobacco and the wood it not part of that, I will bet the price will be higher though.

No, I'm assuming not, too, but it's a valid point to at least... confirm :D Pretty sure you're correct on all counts, though.

I cannot believe people actually think McClelland's is going to cheat them out of tobacco weight because they add a litttle piece of cask wood to a tin for flavoring, there's plenty of room in the tin for both... :laff:

I think that's a great idea! IF there's no casing and the wood is the only flavoring agent....

You have that anti-Virginia gene don't you. I heard speak of some people not being able to enjoy Virginia's on the youtube.
