I got a new Rustic Zulu Pipe from Invicta Briars in England. It is very very nicely done. I smoked a half bowl today and no faults noted. It passed the pipe cleaner test with ease. I kind of feel like I cheated Invicta as this pipe only cost $63.97 delivered to my front door. Shipping time to the US was only 7 days. I am very pleased.
I will let you all know how it is after it is broken in.

I don't have any zulu pipes in the rotation.. I really do like that shape though. I think I might need to adjust the PAD order sheet....

I LOVE the zulu shape, my first pipe was a Peterson Aran zulu, still smoke it often. Wish that they were bigger, but it seems that by nature they have small bowls. That Invictus is beautiful, very classy. Might have to look into getting one of their pipes sometime. Thanks for the post!

Count me as another fan of the Zulu, especially the bent Zulu shape that Dunhill came up with. Apparently Dunhill invented the Zulu shape in general.

I just stumbled upon this thread because I was looking for information on Invicta. I find their prices just too good to be true, but apparently it's true after all. I am a huge sucker for classy English pipes, and these certainly fit that bill. I also want a Blakemar pipe. Anyway, random thread bump concluded.

Will be purchasing an Invictas now, it seems perfect for my college budget!

I don't know whether to curse you for giving me an excuse to spend money on another pipe or thank you.

The draw on the pipe is perfect and with no resistance. I still get a mouthful of smoke on each puff. If you want a new brand name pipe the prices are hard to beat.
I may have an Invicta surprise in the near future.
