Here is my returned Pete 106, with the tri-color band. Does that make it a St. Paddy pipe? The stem wouldn't go all the way in and looked like they used pliers to remove it. Now it just shines except the P logo is almost gone. Sending it off soon for a new P logo. Whaddya think? [IMG]

Me of course! I LOVE doing the refurbs and making the pipes look like new again. And I'm definitely not handsome so...

Nice! I have one of the 106 shapes and it is one of my favorite pipes. The shape just feels good to me and it smokes great. Looking to pick up another 2-3 of them to add to the herd!!!

    Enjoy!

Here is another recent eBay score...it says St. Patrick's Day on the shank. The above doesn't, but is it a St. Paddy also?

Looks like the St Paddy's Day pipe has green on the band. My guess is that the first one is not a Paddy pipe, but still nice!

The first one HAD a green stripe on the band until I cleaned the shank when it darkened!

Nice!!! I brought back one of those from Ireland in 1988. It was just a bent billiard I believe. Gave it to my uncle and he loved it! It broke on him and I have been trying to find one again ever since.
