I got my new Peterson pipe from smokingpipes.com in the mail as well as my new-to-me CPF Churchwarden off ebay.

Both are really good smokers so far. Now I just have to decide which tobaccos I want to designate for what. I've got those two pipes plus a Medico filter pipe. Also, I have 6 cheap estate pipes coming in the mail. I'm pretty sure no latakia is touching my Peterson.

Just a word of advice - the connoisseur's choice will leave a very distinct fruity/rummy sort of flavor in a pipe. Not a bad thing, but if you use it to break in a pipe, you'll taste it for a long time. That might be a good one to try out in one of the estates that you ebayed.

As for the Pete that looks like a nice classic pipe - that's a B10, right?

Crank up that Beacon or the Davidoff and let 'er rip.

I do like it but it isn't my first choice. My Peterson is going to be my most used pipe and from what I've heard latakia has a strong ghost. I'm going to dedicate one of my estates to it when I receive the package.

That was short lived. I smoked some latakia in my Peterson last night. I went to a friend's house and brought over a few kinds of tobacco so the three of us could try them out. I must say, I'm a fan of McClelland blends so far.
