    The seller has delusions of grandeur. A Root Briar DR 7* would be priced at well over $5000 new. That G pipe does not look as good as a 7* to me, and it is used. Someone might pay a few thousand for it, the seller is hoping for more. Can't blame him, right?

    If it's anything like what I've seen of post 80's Dunhill's - the prices are crazy depending on what you want. I nearly fainted at some of the prices - thank goodness I'm 1970 and they're reasonably priced.

    Even the 1942 I recently got was reasonable compared to the newer one - and mine was handmade!

    I dread having to get ones for when my kids come along - hopefully I can use my RRSP's for that - :haha:!
