Luckily I've been burning lots of styrofoam in my woodstove since then, pretty much created my own little global warming hotspot up here! 38F and sunny today:)

    No smoke now, Copenhagen.
    Thanks David.

Good Morning PSFers.. I took a stroll around the grounds smoking some Sutlif Kentuck Planter in a no-name meer lined Italian bent. Not too bad for a morning stroll...
    Have a great Wednesday!

I had SG St. James Flake in my Altinok Pear on the way to work this morning with my black coffee.

Earlier was Kendal Dark in one of DWaugh's clays.

Now it's Carter Hall in a LePeltier double wall clay. White tea(aka 'tap water') on the side.

I decided to forgo the Kendal Dark this morning and loaded a bowl of Sail Green. And then I didn't smoke it - it's sitting next to the computer waiting for me.

Instead I made a cup with the moka pot and had my coffee with my first ever bowl of Five Brothers. Glad I sprang for three pouches of the stuff - I REALLY like it! Great stuff, similar in strength to Kendal Dark, plenty of strength but with a smooth, rich flavor (not much, if any, dark fired that I notice...just tastes like smooth, medium bodied burley but punches about it's weight) and I love the shag cut. Never burned hot or threatened to bite, and burned slower than I expected. Very pleased with this stuff, wish it was available locally! I'm surprised to learn it's made in Denmark, though!
I was lucky I was nice and calm and relaxed, nearly having finished the smoke, when I remembered that I left half a bowl in a Legend last night on the porch...the pipe was empty and chewed up, hanging out of the 11 month old golden retriever's mouth. It's a goner, and after only a few smokes. I could be angrier, but at least it was just a 4 dollar cob. Funny thing is I saw her trotting along in the backyard with it dangling out of her mouth by the bit....wish I'd been able to snap a picture, it looked like she was smoking it! Would have made a great avatar haha

First bowl ever of Sail Green, in an Italian basket pipe. Ugly little black rusticated bent billiard...IDK what kind of finish they used but it's worn off in some places and actually cracked in others. First pipe I ever got. Hard on the eyes, but it smokes like a dream! My only aro pipe at the moment, though I may designate another for the duty, as I have a number to choose from. I may need to smoke a handful of bowls in this to get the pure flavor of this blend, but so far I really like it. Nice, mild, bite-free ready rub with only a light topping.

Must be a blue moon above all these clouds, cuz I'm smoking latakia.

Ambassador's Blend in a clay. Some English Breakfast tea (aka 'real tea') on the side.
