Ain't it though? I haven't repeated it in days, only because the CH 'dummies down' the 5100 too much...and I only put in a third CH! (I like CH, but it is a burley...)

The last of my McClelland 2105( much to my chagrin) in a Stanwell...Lionshead Pilsner on the side.

damn... I think you guys have the tobacco version of my bourbon bunker! I've got three tobaccos to my name... thankfully I like this marlin flake a LOT! awesome stuff. smoking it with various things tonight- made dinner (threw some kielbosa, scallops and shrimp on the smoker, and then into some cajun cream pasta with some bell peppers), had some maker's mark, had some thomas handy rye, had some kentucky spirit... some benchmark from back when it was seagrams- it's been a stellar evenin'.

Ashton Smooth Sailing in my Amphora. Luckily, the heat isn't too bad
today, and humidity is down. Going to be mid 90's F in SLC today and
tomorrow. :thumbsu: Dare I open another C&D tin? :hot:

@ Snake...as long as you've the mason jars to keep the weed fresh I see no reason not to take another chance.

I liked it. But I've only tried it once and it was in a new MM pride cob. I love buying those little buggers for testing new weed.

Maple Street in a MM Great Dane spool.

Condor ready rubbed, wow I forgot how nice this was, easy to smoke and keep going, just a tamper now and then, and putting my thunb over the bowl seems to help too with a draw. Enjoying this one in my Alco with a small bowl. Iv found a bit of Condor long cut, Ill give that a try later, smells stronger though?

G&H Dark Birdseye in m new Peterson 999 Army Mount...With a side of Ron Zapaca Rum. The VA sweetness plays well with the rum. :dunno:
The rum might have made me a bit silly...Thus the dancing monkey.

Tonight I tried some Ashton Consummate Gentleman out of my Duca Carlo. I enjoyed it, no gurgle at all and no bite. Not sure if I can chaulk that up to the pipe, the tobacco or really trying to smoke slow...

I have been smoking mostly English blends lately and I'm going to make sure to try something different tomorrow, maybe a Virginia.

smoking Erinmore Balkan Mixture in a Peterson Rosslare 69... while doing some heavy reaming.

I noticed some pipes need a lot more reaming than others... I have these two pipes in which I've been smoking the same blend, but one has much goopier cake than the other... just wondering, could it be the quality of the briar has something to do with this?
