Peterson Sherlock Holmes(last of Dondi's sample, thanks Dondi) in a Pete System 305, BenRiach curiositas on the side(less than a quarter of a bottle left), which reminds me to go get some more, finishing this peated malt faster than my regular speysides. Good thing there's still the 13 yr Maderensis fumosus :goodjob:

    Briars still going strong:

Brebbia "Twin" Amaranth (without the stem extension) loaded up with a local B&M (The Smoke Shop's, Annapolis Md) "No Name Natural" (a bright non matured VA flake).........it was good (I feel this is GH&co's Bright CR), will have to A-B one day. Hot coffee for the wake up & rinse.

Followed by the same bowl ~1hr later filled with McCL 2015, iced h2o to rinse.

I'm enjoying "warming" my old friends again. Great smokers, great toby, great weather...........life is grand!

IRC Balkan Supreme in a Rosslare 69.

It's a very satisfying burley-based balkan which is mellower than other virginia-based balkans I've tried.

    Next briar:

Wiley Freehand "Boston Bridge" '98 (55) filled with JLP's Quad Va, iced h2o to rinse.

Nice big deep tapered bowl (similar size to a MM General, but bigger, deeper, wider!). I was actually planning on DGT'ing if needed but it was so enjoyably good that I just couldn't stop or put it down. It was either in my mouth (4+ oz, maybe I ought to put it on the gram scale, it's a big'un!) or in my hand all the time. Very enjoyable, a good friend indeed.
