    Never smoked a cigarette, but I think this is the closest

    my Cornell & Diehl trial pack(s) just arrived...
    [attachment=918:Sampler.JPG]

    so I pulled out a couple of bags and smoked them in my Dr. Plumb Dinky Nine.

    First up was #210 Berry Good, described as "A combination of burleys and No.734, Green River Vanilla, with a raspberry sauce". I found this to taste similar to Davidoff Danish, except that it was twice as sweet (!) and there was a musty, cloying undertone which I'm not liking. It's an undertone which I've come to associate with inferior grade cavendish. I wont be re-ordering this, but l will smoke the rest of the sample, unless someone else wants it (send me a PM).

    Next up was #912 Strawberry Cavendish, described as "A mixture of light and dark Cavendish infused with a Strawberry flavor that lasts to the bottom of the bowl. The clean white ash assures the smoker of the quality of the tobaccos" and I definitely agree, this is a high quality aromatic! I'm liking the balance of this blend -- burns well, nice flavor that's not overly sweet, great aroma, and once in a while, something spicy shows up in the smoke! The only drawback is that nic content seems low. I may be re-ordering this, will just have to try out the other aromatics in my trial pack(s) before making a final decision.
