C&D Epiphany in a Tinsky apple. Epiphany (rumored to be Einstein's fave blend) is a solid VaPer with an omnipresent hint of latakia. A lovely blend, and definitely a keeper! That Einstein must have been a bright fella, huh? https://pipesmokersforum.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/ohyeah.gif

Revelation was Einsteins weed. Epiphany is a supposed match.

C&D Mississippi Mud in a Rosslare 69... wonderful blend!

The all-black appearance of the baccy was pretty daunting... but Barako survived it yesterday, so I decided to give it a try. I find it very similar in taste profile to Epiphany, almost feels like Craig (the blender) took the Virginias out of Epiphany and threw in more latakia in its place.

    Mini-review:
I like the way Epiphany harmonizes the VaPerLatBur, goes well with any beverage, any time of the day.
Mississippi Mud, which is CavPerLat, is not as bright in flavor, and begs to be smoked with a single malt on the side.

lighting up some dunhill london mixture in a BBB billiard.

got some 1792 today, smells like... old leather and salt. funny crystals on it and doesn't smell of tonquin. i'm wondering if this is because its 8 years old or if i got a moldy/defective batch. anyone have any ideas? i'd REALLY like to smoke it but i'd also like to not die, ya know?

Dub, I bet if you look close at your crystals you'll find that your pressed Tanzanian is starting to sugar up. Smoke it, you'll like it.

    P&W 400 in a Tinsky.

C&D Billy Budd in my newly arrived 1928 Dunhill Inner Tube 196 billiard, BenRiach Heredotus fumosus on the side, life is good :drinkin:

Billy Budd is a great blend, lots of smoky, earthy latakia, sweet virginia with the fullness and spice of cigar leaf, very robust, liking it very much.

chestnut Dunhill. Best "english" I've ever

    Good day all!

H&H Daybreak in a Tsuge "e-star" 206, hot coffee. Nice smoke, I imagine this is H&H's take on DH EMP? Tastes like a toned down 965 to me. I'll be picking up more of this fine 'baccy.

    followed by:

H&H Capitol Stairs, same pipe, more hot coffee. It too is a nice smoke but I do like the Daybreak better. Will probably be picking up more of this fine blend too.

That sir, is correct, IMO it's no EMP but its a pretty good blend on its own.

Just smoked some Hanbana Daydreams out of my Big Ben Invention and man was it great. Don't know if its the tobacco or the pipe but it is wonderful.

C&D Epiphany in a Celtic 69. Got a blast of perique on the last 3 puffs. Dumped it out on the cork knocker, and nothing but ash came out. What a fantastic blend this is!
