GLP Blackpoint in a Dunhill ODA 835, Glenlivet 12 on the side. The pungency of the perique at midbowl in this blend is terrific, especially when snorking :puffy:

H&H Capitol Stairz in Bear's Den (T-bear) "Bamboo", ice h2o.

    followed by:

Haunted Bookshop in the same pipe..........wonderful! Both bowlz!

Thanks again T-bear! Great pipe and is coming along nicely. The bamboo is darkening between "Kanuckles" and the pipe smokes sweet as a cob! Nice & light to boot! Great work T!

    followed by:

2015 in the same bowl. Smoked about 1/3 down and will finish her off tomorrow morning.

Yeah, she'z gettin' a workout and working this girl right into the fold, "baptism by fire" method.

heading out back for my first go at GLP Quiet Nights. A sip or two of Knob Creek should help.

I was under-welmed by Quiet Nights. A little bitter. Could be my pipe choice; my Stanwell bamboo has seen a number of different blends lately. The knob Creek was right on point though.

That's what I'm talkin' about Kirby! That is my idea of relaxation.

    Tonight's flight...

Sam Gawith med Virginia in a Stanwell bent Dublin before dinner. Then a huge ribeye, steamed broccoli, salad and iced tea. Followed up by some Sam Gawith FVF in the same Stannie. Then a bowl of Rattray's Red Rapareeeeee in another Stanie. The coup de' gras will be a bowl of Penzance in a Pete bent Dublin. Or maybe some Quiet Nights and Knob Creek thanks to Kirby getting me side tracked.

My first taste of Tudor Castle in my Sas second. After only one bowl I can tell you it is my favorite blend featuring perique.

After Tudor Castle, I had to try one of the Grand Oriental's...just to replicate the experience w/o Perique. Now smoking Smyrna #1...thanks to your endorsement...in a Kirsten. I am so digging both of these baccy's. Coffee on the side. Oy, it's early.
