Love playing and listening to jazz stuff.

3 scotches and one huge pipe later....
Thanks to Puff, I had a melange (parfait) of CH
and some aro called Mesa Verde in my first ever
MM cob (a general)! This pipe is a HUGE cauldron
that you can practically fit a whole tin in!
Easily, the biggest pipe I've ever held, let alone,
smoked. Needless to say, I'll be DGTing this
one for a week and a half.

    cheers

MacB VA Blend in a Savinelli Fiamatta #644ks, Pepsi-Max on the side. Home again after two weeks in the hospital, so I'm enjoying this bowl a lot, sitting at my desk, not standing out in the wind and rain :coffee:

I'm trying to like this stuff but so far it's just not doing much for me. The first tin I smoked was pretty fresh and this tin (from the box pass) is over a year old.

Maybe I'll just buy a tin of Perique or Latakia and kick it up a notch....

Snake sent me a sizeable sample of C&D Autumn Evening. I wanted to like it, I really did. Tried it in a Cob, then a meer and just finished a bowl in my Jobey Band 200. It smells devine, just tastes harsh and gross. Sucks cause SP has 8 oz. tins for sub $25. Oh well! now I'm going to clean my pallate with a parfait of 5 bros over CH in a MM Diplomat with p-lip forever stem. :coffee:

Common complaint. Some love it, some are totally ambivalent to it. Afraid I'm in the latter camp.

Here I've been smoking out of the box pass, and haven't bothered mentioning it here. Course, I'd have to update hourly...

For now, Sunday Picnic in a mini meer. Sweet tea chaser.

    MacB CB c-ball'd in a 4evah-stem'd MM Diplomat, iced h2o. (late a.m.)

    just in from:

Ringlow Syrian in the same cob, diet coke lime.

Gotta hand it to them Richmond pipers! They can come up with a great smoke and do! That was just a "checkout" tin for me. 4-star (TR). I'll be placing an order for this again soon. Va-S.Lat-Oriental.........during the entire smoke all I could think about was how good this tasted! Like a nice thick chocolate malt how I like to sip it all the way down to nothingness. Well, that was this bowl. Then I got fixated on this bowl in a big huge bowl ("booby" Wiley Freehand "Boston Bridge", MM General, CCSS), I could definitely go cruisin' on a nice long drive with this! That Richmond Consortium of pipers have it together on this one. Nice thick sweet-nutty-silky smooth smoke and not even a hint that it'll bite you, not even a growl. Delish! Nuff said!

Oh, btw, McCranie's has Christmas Cheer '10, so I'd imagine it's getting into circulation. How limited are these? Like hundreds? thousands? depends on when the batch is finis? I really enjoy smoking CC.

PH GS in a 4evah-stem'd MM Washington, iced h2o.

Gonna go in and save the last ~1/3 for the morning, this'll be nice I predict. If you like R-LGF, give this one a try......it's worthy!

...........of smoking now, saving for later, in a class = R LGF, sweeter IMO

    3-cents.
