lane era 965 in an antique orlik calabash, blueberry wheat ale on the side (pretty lousy, but free).

i cant believe how quick these things burn given the size of the bowl. easily my biggest pipe, and fastest smoke, 30 min tops. i was hoping for two hours... oh well.

Glad to be back w/some freetime to post on PSF! Been buzy lately....

    Update on recent smokes:

Lane BCA + Solani ABF (Wonderful Smoke btw), in a Squatch "Pot", GREAT Pipe SAS, Thanks again!

Lane BCA + Lane IQ (Nice, thanks for the recommendation CornCob Charlie!), in a Stummel Bum Nose Warmer (standard stem), this too is a GREAT Pipe Rob, Thank You!

Lane BCA + McCL X-60 Burley (nice but not as nice as BCA + ABF!), in a Squatch Plateau'd Bent Billie, again, another wonderful smoker, Thanks SAS!

Anyone notice any trendz? Yep, I've been mixing/blending Lane BCA with everything (so it seems)........great combos but BCA and ABF absolutely ROCKS! Most important trend here is the pipes! PSF has excellent pipesmiths and I'm sure glad I ventured out of the box of standard production pipes and am diving into the handmade/boutique pipes.........just that much better folks! :goodjob:

    Most recent smoke:

McCL RSR (Ringlow Syrian Reserve) in a GBD Churchwarden "Captain" (made in London, brass GBD plackard, 3 brass rings, etc.), nice smoke.......will have to smoke my C-wardens more often.......nice clenched if I'm not walking or moving around, very light weight too.

Jeezz Ed how do I top that post :dunno:

The dogs have had me up since 3:30am as there was buck in my yard feeling very brave...if only my guns weren't in the prision armory :yikes:

Anyway brewed some coffee and got bundled up (25 degrees) grabbed a turkey call and started "talking" to my neighbors. Love it when they talk back :punk:
