Sorry for the passing of another great man and friend T-bear. Hope you & Pat hang in there and Pat's Mom too.

Working out in the yard (trimming shrubz & treez) at Mom's place so I brought a cob and smoked several bowlz of the following tobyz in a 4-evah stem'd MM Washington (current). Iced H2O

    SG BBF (2 bowlz)
    Escudo (1 bowl)
    RLGF (1 bowl)

Glad I had several 'baccys to pick from and having the choices made bush & tree trimming that much funner.

A coin of Escudo in the lattice billiard meer. Pipe smokes great; Escudo turned sort of 'cigarette-ish' toward the middle. Weird.

This is my third English in a row. Started with 965 in the Butz Choquin billiard, then Esoterica Margate in the Duke of Kent bulldog, now SG Skiff in BOB, the Big Ol' Billiard meerschaum. I shall repeat this adventure tomorrow and write a proper review.

Solani Mystery X in the same Dip more :coffee:

    Now is

The start od Stummel Bum & SAS Saturday! So it's

More ET BP in a Stummel Bum Nosewarmer (short stem). This shortie is AWESOME Rob! Thanx! Putz the bowl smoke within reach of your noze, wonderful experience adding the "nose note" to the mix at the ready! Black Pool by ET is a nice ET-style "aro" smoke like an "aroid". Super thick white flavorful smoke to both tongue & noze. Yumm!

"Cannonballed" some Sterling Bargain Blend/Captain Black I mixed up for the Loewe (#740 1/4 bent prince). The smoke isn't bad at all, better than expected. However, the cannonball load didn't take as well in the straight bowl. 4 relights, and I had to tamp often, which no matter how gently I tamped, the entire ball sank lower and lower (due to the straight walls in the bowl I'm sure). I think I'll be sticking to the Frank method for this pipe... IBC root beer on the side...
