Black Rope and Tambolaka (75/25 mix) in ol' Stankbutt(MM Legend)...trying a mellower death by nicotine blend...much better! All it's missing is a subtle sweetnes....yeah, cuz sugar would make one whit a difference... Twining's Rooibos Tea to pair.

EMP in a little Big Ben Barbados. :coffee:

OK......this really is a good blend to start the day with. Nice and sweet with just a little Latakia. Burns nicely straight from the tin too.

I loaded some Winter Heartbeat into my Brebbia Ninja 301...after reading the reviews on TR, I wasn't sure what to expect... StrongIrish gave it a strong 4-star review while several others called it horrid and gave it 1-star.

After a charring light, it developed an excellent burn... but tasted horrid! Not like tobacco at all. Now I see why some gave it a 1-star. Maybe it's the cigar leaf or the deer tongue, but I had to dump the bowl before I even got 1/4 of the way down.

Immediately filled my pipe with an old reliable - Deacon's Downfall, and trying to get the taste of Winter Heartbeat out of my mouth/pipe.

Will still try WH in another pipe, but not giving it much hope. Gerry sent me several ounces of this stuff, and I may need to find it another home! :bing:
