Well, I was DGTing some OGS...apparently the cigarette smoking harpy I married finds it unreasonable to duck under the stove top to polish it off. (Snowing like a SOB here.)

I re-posit my theory here for your perusal- guys should live on one half of the US, women on the other. The Mississippi river should be lined with hotels. Why? I'll let y'all decide...(hint: it's not for continental breakfast.)

In the MM Patriot, I've put a 3/4 fill of Tambolaka. (An old Boy Scout who knows his shinola about starting fires, I could see my pre-steamed oz would not burn right out of the bag, so I had dried it for half an hour.) Not just any fill, mind you, but one leaf at a time, sort of wadded up like newspaper, to let some air circulate. Now, once again turning to my vast experience with campfires, I could tell I still needed kindling -- a pinch of CH. Fired it up, perfect start, and I'm really getting a kick out this stuff!

That 'kick' is nicotine poisoning. :0laugh:

    (Just kidding...it's not that bad.)

OGS in the Falcon...actually a pleasant clenching smoke to be had while shoveling snow. Irish Flake, done the same way, put me on my back.
