Dude!....I mean, DUDE! Gorgeous pipe! How many coats of Krylon did you use on that??? (I am freaking jealous!!!)

Lovely day of 30+ MPH winds and driving rain. Now smoking bowl number two today of PS LNF in the Falcon. This day of relative smoking inactivity has taught me two things...that I still enjoy Lady Nicotine, and that my wife's dog should be freed to roam the wild savannahs of NEPA. The poor dear...cooped up in a man made contrivance...he deserves better, he deserves...his freedom!

Some Dog Bite lager to accompany my pipe and ramblings.

And now for the Skiff in my Il Ceppo. Coffee (Starbucks Cafe Verona) with sugar on the side. Great match, by the way. Oddly, this is my first experience with Skiff (the SG shortage has me trying whatever I can get from them, though I'm not really in short supply of my favorites at the moment). How could I have overlooked this gem for so long? It will take an esteemed place beside Squadron Leader as some of the best tobacco the world has to offer, in my opinion.

About to finish off a cob full of Carter Hall I've been working on since about midnight or so. Worked third shift tonight, so it is now my "evening." I wish there was a 24 hour bar around here, it may be almost 7AM rather than 7PM, but I put in a full day's work and I deserve happy hour and a jukebox and pool table. Oh well, I'll make do with my gin and tonic and CH and MM while listening to the birds waking up and watching the sun rise. I suppose thats an even better way to relax after work, yeah?

    My first morning smoke EVER.

Great warm morn, tried a black cav B&M bulk in a Thayne sitter, perhaps a differnt blend next time. Overall very pleasant experience with coffee and birdsong all around. Will try again next weekend, probably with Dunhill EMP.

PS Sweet Vanilla in a basket pipe. Bought it a couple of years ago for $20 and it's still one of my best smokers!

Mmmm, Best Brown #2 in my Brebbia Night.

For the first time ever, used the fold and stuff method. It's weird....is it just me or does it somewhat change the flavour of your flake compared with other methods? Maybe it's partly due to lighting it straight out of the tin with no drying time. It's slightly steamy and ever so slightly sour. Not in a bad way at all, more along the lines of how lemonade is sour. But still sweet! Also the floral notes seem slightly more subdued, with some very mild fruitiness I never noticed before.

Anyway the fold and stuff seemed daunting at first, but it's smoking perfectly well and I'm about halfway through the bowl and only needed a single relight so far.

Burley/ Virginia in handmade mesquite. Listening to the fire scanner praying for rain. Been helping with a huge fire near Robert Lee, Tx. Already burned over 125,000 acres and only 10% contained, but the wind has picked back up to 25 mph. Hoping the alarm doesn't go off because that means a long night.

Finished the meal, now it's time for dessert. Let the cob cool off quickly and ran a cleaner through it, now I'm on to the Captain Black White I packed into it.
