    Germain's Medium Flake in a
    Peterson churchwarden prince.
Rarely smoke this pipe, and the
    lack of cake shows it.

Mac Baren Mixture in a Butz Choquin bulldog.
This tin of Mixture has about a year of age on it and it has gone from good to fantastic.

    Darker flakes weren't working

After a restless night that heavily featured thoughts about clowns, I'm feeling better now. Still, I took Dr. Craven's idea to heart and have smoked several bowls of Five Bros. back to back this morn. Suddenly, the song 'Send in the Clowns' seems less ominous to me.

MacBaren Plumcake in a DWaugh clay. Less filling, tastes great!
Coca-Cola and oppressive sunshine for accompaniment.

Trying some more 1792 in my cob. Left it out to dry for 24 hours, I'm getting a bigger kick from lady N than last night but it doesn't seem to be much different

    Speaking of G&H...

Some Bosun Cut Plug, scented, in a DWaugh clay. I've seen orientals, Perique, and other blends shine in a clay pipe...thought an old school scented flake should get a chance too.
So far, success! (My thanks to tbear for planting this notion in my head, especially since he was obviously right...Lakelands just plain 'work' in a clay...) :)

4noggins Bald Headed Teacher in a 1/4 bent Neerup. I love this stuff. It is one of my favorites and may be my favorite English. Of course, I have limited Penzance experience, so what do I know?
