For the commute in (last night) it was
CH in a Falcon, then for the commute
home (just earlier) it was Boswell's Best
(gifted from ... somebody) in the Falcon.

And here I thought your idea of smoking burley consisted of OGS or Erinmore Flake. (Ya think you know a guy...)

Speaking of...OGS in a Pete Bulldog.

Bayou Morning Flake DGTd from last night. I'm not usually a DGT guy, but this is alright. The BMF seems to get better the further down the bowl you get... Heavy mesquite smokey flavor. Nobody could complain about too little Perique in this one.

You do, actually. I just wanted to "mix it up", or the
    other term.... uh.... "slum-it"? ;)
Let's not forget, I do dabble in GE every now and again.

I think it's great, actually. I bought it out of curiosity, wanting to try and develop my appreciation for different Oriental varietals, but it's a super tasty smoke in it's own right. McClelland's aged Virginias are a great compliment to the Drama leaf. I do still plan on working my way through the Grand Oriental series, but I will probably always keep a tin of Drama Reserve on hand. It's that good.

BTW, sorry to hear of your (kinda) disappointment with Rose of Latakia. I have been eyeballing that one as well, though I'm putting it on the back burner for now.

Precisely! How did you know? Been stalking me ... again, huh?
Just like SG ropes, you have to let the entrails dry out a fortnight.

8 tins and some accessories later, it was

Finally home and popped open a tin of

Planta Black Vanilla in a MM IRC Natural Diplomat (original stem) this pipe's an oldie!

    Now smokin'

There's extremely high quality 10%ABV beer and then there's malt liquor. I hope yours is good stuff! :)

How's the Dark Birdseye? And if you've had Kendal's Dark, how does it compare? I've always wanted to try it. I love Kendal Dark, but hate the Light
