    Honestly? Dunno.

I haven't delved into G&H's catalog far enough to get to it. To be honest, i'm enamored enough with the 'Lakeland' essence, scent, soap, et al, that ordering unscented versions seems a waste!

Yeah, I love that stuff. I'll try their other offerings if I can, but if I'm looking specifically for something else, I'll more often get a different brand. I think you'd love the Kendal Dark. Heavy hitting shag cut lakeland

I'm loading up G&H Dark Birdseye in a clay as we speak. Not exactly mellow...

    my English dedicated Bjarne freehand.
Was nice. I think I like it better than
EMP. Hmm... will have to smoke some
of that just so I'm not a liar. ;)

It took me a while to master Kendal Dark, but once I learned how to pack and smoke it, and what pipes to use for it, it's treated me well for a long time. Not bitey, not overwhelming, just plenty of nicotine combined with a quick smoke time. Dark Birdseye...does it have a nice floral quality?

Only faintly in the background. It's Five Bros. with a British sensibility. Unlike the scented Lakelands, you have to almost search for it.

Irish Flake, from the new tin. Not impressed. Old stuff was way more satisfying.
