Tried to smoke Gawith's Grousemoore in the Ashton Pebble Shell lovat, but couldn't do it. I really wanted to like that Grousemoore, but it just turns me off. I dumped that after about 10 minutes and I'm now enjoying McClelland's Christmas Cheer 2008 in the Dunhill Tanshell Billiard. Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale on the side (don't judge... I know it's 11:30 am, but I work nights and it's almost my bedtime ).
Grousemore is one of those weeds that took awhile to work for me. Some weeds are like that. I also had the same issue with MacB Limited #8. It turned out that the last half of the bowl was really great and after you get past the "flowers" there is some very good weed in it.
Reiner LGF in a Pete 80s, coffee and Hulu TV.
First bowl of Grousemoore, all I could get was rosemary. I gave it a few tries, but no go. One of the wonderful things about pipe tobacco is how the nearly limitless options allow one to be picky if they so choose. I'm pretty quick to move on if something doesn't grab me in the first few bowls. Anyone want a nearly full tin of this stuff?? :puff:
