Balkan Sasieni in Adry's saddle billiard (all the way from Malaysia)

Quite nice, had to wait for some of the heat to go away for a smoke out by the pool. I'm in a hotel in north Jersey.

    Surprisingly similar :)
Condor in a cob. Whenever I smoke or smell this stuff I'm reminded of the coach from Major League 2 jumping up and down on the hospital bed... if you've seen it you know what I mean. I gotta find a clip of that to post...

Feeling like a mild, sweet smoke so I just lit up a bowl of Sutliff Private Stock's Great Outdoors. In my MM Great Dane, of course, on the back porch with some cold water on the side

Cracked my last jar of Red Cake this morning...ruddy B&M needs to keep better stock of this'n here! I've been smoking it off and on (more on) since then.

    That reminds me...

Didya hear about the woman who liked to walk about town without clothes on?

Nine months later she had a little more on...:) (Oldie but goodie.)

Well it's been hot. And in Ohio, with our wonderful soil composed largely of clay which prevents moisture from ever really draining, heat means incredible humidity. Well, it finally got hot enough and humid enough for long enough for a thunderstorm to break out, clearing the air of excess humidity and cooling the place off. So I thought it was the perfect time to go out for another smoke.

Loaded up the Ben Wade Canadian with Frog Morton. Sipped it nice and slow, along with a mug of lapsang souchong tea.

Best smoke I've had since....well since yesterday! :puffy:

MacB Dark Twist in an older Castello Dublin. Balvenie Signature on the side.
The first few big draws had a burst of spice, quite nice.
I need to start taking pictures again.

Sam Gawith Navy Flake in a Sav Roma. Just what the doctor ordered. Well, it's just what I ordered anyway. Came in today.

Honestly, though, it's still a little damp. I like my SG flakes, like 1792, Chocolate Flake, and this one a little on the moist side, as I think it brings out more if the sweet flavors, but despite over 2 hours in open air... I guess I just couldn't wait, it's sooooo delicious. Oh well, I'll puff on it a while, and if it gets to be a struggle, I'll DGT it while I fill another pipe with GAF. Been going through withdrawals from that one, anyway.

    WOAH WOAH WOAH!!!

Just lit up a bowl of McClelland 2045 Oriental Mixture.

No big deal, I do that every couple of days, as y'all are probably tired of hearing about.

I realized today though, that while I love it in my Ben Wade billiard, I've never even TRIED it in anything else.

Its in my Bjarne freehand now, with a much wider chamber at top and much deeper bowl.

This blend has gone from very, very pleasant to downright amazing. So much more flavor in this pipe! A big bowl is DEFINITELY the way to go with this one. More sweetness, more spices, the latakia is ever so slightly more pleasant. (edit: I meant to say present, not pleasant. Both are correct) THIS IS PERFECT!

Now if I can find a way to make this bowl smoke a little drier, this will be THE pipe for this blend and that billiard will now be reserved for other stuff.

    I'm at a loss!!
