Hearth & Home Marquee Series - Sweet & Savory in my Luciano ball. I'm only smoking about half a bowl, but it's slightly on the stronger side so that will be okay. Besides, it's early in the day, still. I'll do some more serious smoking before and after my meeting tonight, I'm sure :puffy:

This is my second smoke from this sample. It's interesting, and I think it's a quality blend. A nice change of pace when you want something thats just a little different from your typical VA or Burley based blend.....it's not monochromatic at all, there seems to be a good bit going on in this blend between the VA, the Orientals and the Perique...but it hasn't really hit home for me yet. I will certainly finish my sample, but I'm not entirely certain I'll rush to buy a tin.

About to fire up some Hearth & Home Lakeland Brickle soon, with juuuuuust a pinch of Cumberland Sweet Twist sliced and rubbed out to a shag mixed in - just to give it the slightest extra little bit of nicotine (a little of that stuff goes a long way)

I really like the Lakeland Brickle, but I don't like the name. Brickle doesn't make sense....all I can think of is butter brickle ice cream. And as discussed in the "revisiting Lakelands" thread, that designation certainly shouldn't fairly apply to the blend any more than a California winery should be able to call their bubbly "champagne."

I like the tobacco a lot though. I wish some blender would make a whole line of tobaccos in this style, all subtly different from each other in one way or another. I think there would be a market for it, and I know if the quality was half decen't I'd sure buy a lot of it.

And hell, if it was available in pouches in the grocery or drug stores, all the better.....

.....or maybe I should just move to the UK.....

So about a year ago I got a tin of MacB Honey and Chocolate. I'm not a aro smoker usually but I like one every now and again. It smelled great but had no flavor...none...not bad...not good...just nothing. So its been cellared for over a year now and I've smoked 2 bowls today. Still the same. I think I'll be dumping out this bowl and filling it with some Escudo! I need flavor!!!

More Five Bros., this time in one of David's clays. Outside listening to a neighbor honking his nose like a braying ass. That reminds me...my shottie needs reloading.
