    Good Morning,
What a weird weekend. Last weekend was rainy and mid 30s, yesterday was sunny and 83. Saturday morning I smoked a bowl of Dark Strong in a Falcon. Not extraordinary for most of you, but I had never smoked a Falcon before. Moo sent it to me a while ago, and I figured it was time to give it a go. Interesting.
This morning its back to Ten Russians in a oil cured Squatch.

This morning was a sunrise over the Atlantic, followed by a walk to the beach access and along the Beach Road while smoking a bowlful of CBW in a Falcon. Life is pretty damned good sometimes.

Ashton's Artisan Blend in a Kaywoodie apple. Man, pretty warm, and bright, outside today.

I'd say happy Columbus Day to all, but eh, no one cares.

On a big perique kick right now, but just decided to try a bowl of burley kake after about a week of nothing but VaPers. It was much sweeter than last time I tried it, & I picked up a lot more of the nuances. Really enjoying this bowl...mmmm....

Cool and rainy here on a Canadian Thanksgiving morning. Enjoying my morning coffee along with some MacB GE in my Brigham Prince. A little burley and a little caffeine, a good way to start the day being thankful!

Orlik Golden Sliced in the Bjarne freehand

Meh....I'm not much into VA lately. Should have gone with something GH with a strong floral taste, or else a good Lat blend.

How have you been preparing it? I find it to be a wonderful blend when I rub it out, and have had nothing but disappointment when I fold and stuff it.

I've tried both. Maybe I haven't found the right pipe for it yet. More likely I think maybe there's just something about the plum flavoring or whatever it is that disagrees with me. I'll just keep cracking the jar every few months and see what happens.

Smoking some Dark Birdseye in a DWaugh splendiforous clay cutty. Clouds are out, and I couldn't be more thrilled.

I cracked open my tin of Petersons Sherlock Holmes today. Straight out of the tin it seems to me to be the perfect moisture level. I had a nice big bowl of that in my MM Freehand earlier then two bowls of Peach Brandy in my bent Legend while walking to and from cadets tonight.

McConnell's Rich Dark Virginia in my Stanwell 140. This blend is definitely topped, and if i'm right, it's with pulverized grape Nerds candy. OK, maybe it's some fine Burgandy wine, or something from Smuckers, but still...¡Ciudad de las Uvas!, baby!

This fine blend paired with a tankard of Keystone Ice Lager.

McClelland Oriental Blend #14 in my Ben Wade Canadian before my meeting.

Now I'm smoking Steamroller in a Johs bulldog. This isn't as strong as I was led to believe by the name and H&H's description of the blend, but it's nice stuff. I really like it. Not too complex, just a good, medium-full bodied blend of burley and Virginia with a little unflavored cavendish, a hint of perique and just enough latakia to add it's own special something to the mix. Lightly smokey, not extraordinarily complex but certainly not boring....I love this stuff.

(Earlier it was) Black Mallory in the lattice billiard meer, some sort of acai-blueberry tea and The World Famous Phil Hendrie Show via Bluetooth headphones. Beautiful sunset this evening. A very relaxing smoke....until the neighborhood skunks started rooting around back there.
