Just fired up a bowl of Haunted Bookshop in the meerschaum...should be a good day
Ahh, now a bowl of Exhausted Rooster in the meer....nice warm day on the porch! Too bad I have to work pretty soon
Some Sunday Morning Jazz on this rainy, chilly (46F) day. Filled the Altinok blow fish meerschaum with Coniston Cut Plug to start my smoking day...large mug of Cappuccino on the side.
Have a great day all!
Good Sunday Morning....
Beginning the day with Carter Hall in MM cob....
C&D Mountain Camp in a Benton Brandy.
I am now smoking a bowl of 5 year old Captain Black Royal in my new Peterson Irish Army 106. Along with some Wild Turkey American Honey to sooth the bite.
Erinmore Balkan Mixture in my Parker Rhodesian. No gurgle tonight! Not sure what I did differently, but it's all good.
Carter Hall in a Grabow Grand Duke to start things off this morning.
Good afternoon! Smoking a POY again today (They sure are wonderful pipes! ), this time filled with some GL Pease Union Square, acquired in a good trade with Nesta. Good so far, though it's a little sharp on the tongue. Could need some drying, some age, or maybe I just fragged my tongue yesterday, hard to tell at this early stage.
After breakfast....with coffee....Boswell's Best in my large Pipa Croci....
A burly blend from my local b&m in a bulldog
I think I was wrong on the age of that open pack of Captain Black. I think I purchased that stuff in 2004 just before I retired from the Army. It is amazing that it was still a good smoke!
PA in a MM cob
Well, I'm not yet up for another full pipe, but I've still got this vanilla craving (must be possessed or something) so I looked through some more of Scottly's samples (thanks again, buddy!) and found this wonderful blend from Milan Tobacconists called My Finest Kind. Maduro and toasted Cavendish with a vanilla aroma. I packed a little in my trusty cob and am enjoying it thoroughly. I'll have to have a full bowl later on.
Afternoon, all! EMP (it's okay, it's my first
smoke of the day. ) in a Bjarne freehand.
McB Navy in my POY!
Bob's Square Cut in a Sav 320.
HOTW in a Sav bent billiard, Scotch rock and a rainy afternoon. 49'ers won and life couldn't be better.
Just finishing up an old tin of Sobranie #10 Virginian. Age has been kind to this blend, as the cigar notes are further in the background and the VA is up front. Mellow as all get out in my Baki Basket meer.
