Got to talking about my favorite tobacco/coffee combo on another thread, and then I started Jonesing for it: GAF in a cob (the POY). Coffee on the side.

Walked to a meeting tonight. On the way there I had the Pete packed full of Erinmore Flake, and I gotta say that while I already liked this blend this pipe is perfect for it! On the walk home was a bowl of Haunted Bookshop in a pretty new Bjarne Viking bulldog - I'm not sure if this was carved before or after his death, but it was a good price for a neat little straight bulldog with a saddle stem and a dark red finish, so I couldn't pass it up. Only smoked it a couple times so far, and it's definitely one I'll need to start smoking some partial bowls in. It seems to be a nice enough pipe, but if I smoke a full bowl it tends to get soggy and stubborn in the bottom. Starting tomorrow I think I'll try to smoke partials in it once a day for a week.

The Pete was pretty much dedicated to Pete's Old Dublin blend, but, alas, the tin runneth empty. Still tasting it in the pipe though. Farewell for now Old Dub...until we meet again...

Tastes great with a cuppa joe!

    What is Semois like?

Right now, my first ever smoke of SG Kendal Cut plug in my Luciano ball. This is interesting stuff! Reminds me a bit of a toned down Grousemoor plug with most of the same sweetness but a much lighter flavoring, and very little of the lemongrass

IDK how the B&M gets it, but the presentation convinces me it is authentic - however neither the Samuel Gawith website nor Tobacco Reviews makes any mention of Kendal Cut Plug. Well, I don't care how they get it - this stuff is tasty and I'm sure glad I picked up two ounces :puffy:
